Easy. Just go to the Mapping Applicator and enter the house address. The property eligibility will be shown at the top section of the information bubble on the map.
Is an inspection required to receive House Charlotte down payment assistance?
Yes. A House Charlotte inspection is required at no charge to the buyer which we will set up on behalf of the buyer. It is actually a “code inspection” and should not be considered as a comprehensive home inspection which the buyer is still entitled to have at the buyer’s own expense (typically around $350 – $450, but can be paid from House Charlotte funds if additional funds are left over). No inspection is required for new construction homes less than 6 months old.

We will order the inspection on the buyer’s behalf.
