Weddington has multiple citizen advisory boards. The town established these advisory boards so that residents has a means to give input in a more comprehensive way. Citizens participating in the advisory boards provide support and advice to members of the town council. Their voices influence the outcomes of many areas of town development and living.

So, if you’re interested in participating on an advisory board, just fill out an application and submit it to the town administrator and planner, Lisa Thompson. You can find her at 1924 Weddington Road in Weddington during office hours. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The application is available online here.
