Mecklenburg County is growing at a healthy rate, according to the most recent data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau. In fact, the county, which includes Charlotte, added 19,600 people during the study year ending June 30, 2017. In the state, only Wake County added more it found. So, from July 2016 until July of last years, the population of Mecklenburg grew by 1.85 percent, experiencing steady growth. That’s about 54 people each day that moved to our area.

Now, Mecklenburg is home to 1,076,800 people! Plus, North Carolina and South Carolina counties surrounding Mecklenburg continue to see robust growth. Obviously, that explains all the new development in the area. The Charlotte area is a fantastic place to live!
