While we wait for the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association’s latest Local Market Update for Charlotte home sales, let’s take a look at the last report. During the first month of summer, the housing inventory for Mecklenburg County last month was 12.2 percent lower than the inventory from the same time the year before. Inventory is low! Now is the time to list your home.

Not only did the Local Market Update show that the Mecklenburg County housing inventory is low though. It, is and we need more homes to keep up with the demand. The average sales price was way up too. This should spell a great return on your real estate investment. The average sales price was up 6.3 percent!

Did you know that right now, the average supply of inventory dropped during the last year from 2.1 months worth of inventory to 1.8 months worth of inventory.
